Proposition thèse : Brûlures chimiques : traitement des atteintes cutanées
L’institut de Recherches Biomédicales des Armées, antenne de La Tronche, réalise des
recherches et des expertises pour améliorer la protection et le traitement face aux
agressions de nature Nucléaire, Radiologique, Biologique et Chimique.
Le groupe "Brûlures
par vésicants" du département de Toxicologie, est impliqué dans des recherches visant à
améliorer la prise en charge thérapeutique des lésions cutanées faisant suite à une
exposition à des toxiques chimiques de la catégorie des vésicants. L’équipe comprend 2
chercheurs dont le chef d’équipe, 1 post-doc, 1 technicienne. Les travaux sont conduits en
partenariat avec des laboratoires privés et publics.
L’objectif de ce projet sera d’étudier l’efficacité de nouvelles approches thérapeutiques des
lésions cutanées induites par vésicants pouvant avoir un intérêt pour améliorer la vitesse et
la qualité de la réparation tissulaire.
La mission sera de mettre au point des modèles expérimentaux (modèles animaux in vivo) et
des outils analytiques (biologie moléculaire, biochimie des protéines, histologie
immunomarquages).
Profil recherché :
De solides compétences scientifiques en biologie cutanée et toxicologie expérimentale sont
exigées. Connaissances en biologie cellulaire et moléculaire nécessaires. Manipulation de
l’animal souhaitée.
Nature du financement : bourse du Ministère de la Défense (statut militaire et nationalité
Française exigée). Logé et nourri sur le site.
Début du financement thèse : 01/01/2010 (prise de fonction possible dès 01/09/2009)

Vos missions générales dans le laboratoire seront :
- De gérer l’ensemble des aspects techniques relatifs aux
échantillons en assurant leur réception, leur enregistrement,
leur
traitement, leur conservation, leur traçabilité leur cession ;
- D’effectuer les transformations ayant recours à des techniques de
biologie moléculaire quand nécessaire.
Ces missions englobent les activités techniques suivantes :
- maintenance du matériel (centrifugeuse, congélateurs...)
- surveillance des systèmes d’alarme des congélateurs
- participation technique à la gestion des prélèvements biologiques issus de protocoles de recherche clinique
(centrifugation, aliquotage, congélation)
- saisie informatique et mise à jour du logiciel de base de données gérant les échantillons
La relation fréquente avec les médecins d’une part, les autres techniciens d’autre part, implique une aptitude à la communication.
Il s’agit d’un CDD pour 4-5 mois pour commencer

Vous avez impérativement une formation supérieure en Biologie (Bac + 5 minimum). Requirements:
- A doctorate in biostatistics preferred, with a strong analytic track record and at least 5 years of biopharmaceutical experience. Candidates with an MS degree in biostatistics or statistics degrees and significant statistical and analytic experience will also be considered
- Experience with general linear models, logistic regression, non-parametric and exact procedures , Bayesian analysis, and study size calculations
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to convey biostatistical principles to colleagues with varying functional specialties and backgrounds
- Demonstrated ability to recommend plans for research design, particularly in the areas of observational studies of comparative effectiveness and safety
