Technicien(ne) de laboratoire

Antabio est une société biopharmaceutique située à Labège (31) dédiée à la découverte de traitements innovants anti-infectieux. Antabio dispose d’une équipe internationale avec une expertise spécifique en recherche et développement de molécules pour traiter des infections sévères causées par des bactéries multi-résistantes aux antibiotiques. Les composés développés par Antabio bloquent les mécanismes impliqués dans la résistance aux antibiotiques et la virulence bactérienne en ciblant des voies clés de pathogénie. Antabio développe ses programmes d’inhibiteurs de metallo et serine beta-lactamase pour le traitement à l’hôpital d’infections sévères vers la clinique et a reçu récemment le soutien du consortium CARB-X pour son traitement innovant des infections pulmonaires chroniques par Pseudomonas chez les patients atteints de mucoviscidose.
Antabio recherche un(e) technicien(ne) de laboratoire afin de rejoindre son équipe R&D Biologie. La personne qualifiée devra faire preuve d’enthousiasme, d’une aisance technique et d’une compréhension scientifique. Une expérience en biotechnologie ou industrie pharmaceutique est un plus, mais n’est pas requise. Le (ou la) candidat(e) doit cependant avoir démontré une capacité à travailler dans une équipe multidisciplinaire et être motivé(e).
Poste à pourvoir : Mars/Avril 2019, CDD 12 mois. La durée du temps de travail hebdomadaire est de 39h (35 heures + 4 heures supplémentaires)
Responsabilités
- Prendre en charge les opérations de support incluant les commandes de réactifs et matériels pour l’équipe et assurer la gestion du stock
- Contribuer au bon fonctionnement du laboratoire : préparation des composés pharmaceutiques, des réactifs, milieux de culture, autoclave, etc
- Réaliser l’évaluation biochimique et microbiologique des composés à visée thérapeutique
Profil
- Qualification technique et scientifique (Bac+2, BTS ou IUT)
- Expérience dans un poste similaire dans l’industrie ou laboratoire académique
- Bonne communication orale et écrite en Français
- Assiduité dans l’enregistrement des actions obtenues : cahier de laboratoire et mémos
Compétences
- Multidisciplinaire, sens du travail en équipe, rigueur et organisation
- Bon communicant
- Forte capacité à identifier et résoudre les problèmes techniques
- Communication orale et écrite en Anglais serait un plus

Laboratory Technician (12-month position) M/F:

Antabio is advancing its metallo and serine beta-lactamase inhibitors programs for the treatment of resistant Gram-negative infections towards the clinic and is the recent recipient of a grant from CARB-X to develop a novel treatment for Pseudomonas infections in CF patients.
Antabio is seeking a laboratory technician to join our discovery biology team. The qualified individual should be an enthusiastic biologist/technician with scientific understanding and laboratory skills. Previous biotechnology or pharmaceutical experience is a plus, but not essential; however, the candidate must show a proven ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team environment and should be self-motivated.
Start date: March/April 2019, 12 months fixed contract, 39h working week (35 hours + 4 hours overtime)
Major responsibilities
- Undertake laboratory support operations, including ordering of reagents and materials for the team and stock management
- Contribute to the lab management by undertaking preparation of pharmaceutical development compounds, reagents, autoclave, etc
- Perform biochemical & microbiological evaluation of pharmaceutical development compounds
Requirements
- Technical or scientific qualification (Bac+2, e.g. BTS or IUT)
- Appropriate experience working in an industrial or academic laboratory setting
- Good verbal and written communication skills in French
- Diligent record keeper: laboratory notebooks and memos
Skills
- Multi-disciplinary, flexible and good team worker
